Trinity’s investment team comprises three portfolio managers led by CEO Quinton George, within the auspices of an investment committee.
As a commodities-focused investment house this team has amassed a considerable amount of specialised experience, particularly in the gold market. Portfolio managers have tertiary degrees in finance and economics.
The investment committee - which plays an active role in Trinity’s investment strategy - includes additional internal and independent investment advisors with extensive economic, corporate and fund management expertise. |

Quinton George

Quinton is a registered financial advisor with the
Securities Institute of London and the
Financial Services Board in South Africa. He has successfully achieved certificates in Investment Advice and Investment General exams of the
Institute of Stockbrokers.
He began his career in the financial services when he joined Peter George Portfolios (Pty) Ltd, members of the
South African Bond Market Association. Thereafter, Quinton joined a South African Corporate member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). Here he worked as portfolio manager and developed a substantial private client base. Later, he joined DC Palmer Securities and initiated their online stock broking. He played a significant role in building the online business of the company.
On September 1, 2000, Quinton launched
Trinity Holdings (Pty) Ltd, an investment management company registered with the Financial Services Board. Currently, Quinton is the CEO of Trinity Asset Management, notably one of South Africa’s largest gold and resource fund managers.
Quinton is married to Lisa and has three daughters and a son. He enjoys horse riding, golf, fly fishing and spending time with his family.

James joined Trinity Holdings in July 2002 as Research Analyst. He has subsequently been appointed as Portfolio Manager responsible for managing clients portfolios and updating clients on the markets.
James completed a Bachelor of Finance and Economics degree at the University of Cape Town. His interests in finance led him to Trinity Holdings and so to a career in financial services and asset management.
James is married to Michelle. His main interests lie in travel, sport and Christian ministry.
